Show just concerts, or add other things? How far do we go with "other things"?
About us
This should be giving some story about the orchestra. Some history might be useful, but don't want to go too far - the aim isn't to talk about the old orchestra too much but to talk about the new/current one. There isn't exactly much worth saying yet either...
Fundamentally, this isn't too far removed from the "news" posts on the index page (except there'll be no comments, post date etc.) but there'll have to be some provision for keeping the posts in order even if they're edited/deleted.
Common Things
The idea for this was to use it as a sort of visual RSS feed (inspired to some extent by Techettes, but loads of people do similar things), with the latest [insert some integer here] of some items, like photos, news posts, recent events.
Ideas
Private uploads. The use case that was suggested for was for uploading the minutes of meetings. Obviously there would have to be control for upload/delete/read privileges.
